Lauren Conrad: Back Home And Ready To Party!

Carrying her suitcase and coffee in hand, Lauren Conrad returned home of Friday (May 9) from her short trip to New York City for MTV Upfronts.

The reason for the brief stay - The Hills hottie is reportedly gearing up to help her co-star roommate, Audrina Partridge , celebrate her 23rd birthday (which happens to be today!).

Meanwhile, LC’s rival on The Hills, Heidi Montag, continues to gap with talk show people about the two’s differences - most recently telling Ellen DeGeneres that she doesn’t miss her “once-close friendship” with Lauren.

“It’s kind of like a weight off my shoulders. Towards the end of our relationship she was just always yelling at me and nagging at me because she didn’t like my boyfriend [Spencer Pratt],” Montag said.

“She had a boyfriend I didn’t like for several years but I didn’t really think that was my job [to say anything],” she added. “I was kind of like let’s just go our own ways.”

Lauren Conrad's Real-Life Drama

Joining stars like Justin Timberlake and Taylor Swift, Lauren Conrad was all about hamming it up for the cameras at last night’s MTV Upfronts at the Nokia Theatre in New York City.

She looked great in a sassy-yet-cute dark blue spaghetti strap knee-length dress with matching peep-toe heels and a flirty curled-locks coif.

And while most of what goes on during “The Hills” is fairly normal celebutante drama, on Monday night, Lauren was subjected to some unplanned, unscripted tongue-lashing from a disgruntled bystander.

As she was leaving the opening of Hollywood hotspot Crown, LC was verbally accosted by some random drunk guy who had been denied access to the party.

According to FOX Pop Tarts, the man hurled insults, four-letter words, and racial slurs (huh?) at Lauren as she made her way to the nearest Taxi, stopping only briefly to sign a few autographs.

After Conrad left, one of her guy friends decided to get the drunk guy back, and ran inside to round up a bunch of guys to beat him up.

An eyewitness told Pop Tarts, “The guy was so drunk he couldn’t fight back — they bloodied him a bit then went back in. He was so out of it he beat his head against a phone pole for a few minutes after they’d gone — there was blood everywhere.”

Lauren Conrad carried her luggage into her home in Hollywood on Friday after returning from short trip to New York for MTV's Upfronts.

The 22-year-old Hills star is helping her roommate,Audrina Partridge, celebrate her 23rd birthday tonight.

The finale for the current season of The Hills airs this Monday, May 12. The new season will premiere in August with 19 new episodes.

Lauren Conrad: Back In The Big Apple

Though her usual surroundings consist of the palm trees and sun-soaked shores of Southern California, last night Lauren Conrad was a big city babe, living it up in NYC.

Sporting the fringed-out black suede boots that have lately become her favorite, LC also rocked a white v-neck t-shirt and a pair of designer jeans as she arrived in the Big Apple.

The night before, Lauren was all about keeping up relations with her former boyfriend Stephen Colletti. The former couple hit up the new action hero flick “Iron Man” starring Robert Downey Jr. and Gywneth Paltrow.

And though it wasn’t a date, Miss Conrad looked cute enough to impress Mr. Colletti, sporting a striped shirt underneath a cardigan sweater with a pair of jeans and her infamous boots.

Lauren Conrad grabs a slice of pizza at Monetti’s NY in New York City on Thursday afternoon.

The 22-year-old Hills star then made a quick change into a strapless mini at her hotel and headed to the MTV Upfronts, which announces the TV network’s lineups for the upcoming season in the hopes that advertisers will spend billions of dollars in commercial spots.

Lauren Conrad: Out in LA

If you hang out on the streets of Los Angeles long enough, there’s no telling who you might see. And yesterday the paparazzi in Culver City caught up with Lauren Conrad.

The Hills cutie was on her way to a studio, looking cute in a white scoopneck shirt layered overtop a red tank top with a pair of designer jeans, fringed-out black suede boots and a fabulous Chanel handbag.

And with MTV's announcement that her show The Hills will indeed be airing a fourth season, LC must have been in high spirits.

The new season is scheduled to hit the network this August with a total of 19 new episodes. That’s 19 chances for serious drama and girlfights, including Spencer Pratt.
