Ever since her rise to fame on The Hills, Lauren Conrad has been making a name for herself as a fashion designer as well. And last night, she enjoyed a warm welcome at the first-ever Style Week Orange County.LC showed up at the Irvine Spectrum Center for the unveiling of her new holiday collection and over 2500 (including family and former neighbors) screaming fans cheered wildly in approval.
Lauren told press, "It was so exciting to debut my latest collection so close to where I grew up. And to have so many members of my family here supporting me was really special.
She continued, "I'm honored to kick off the first-ever Style Week Orange County. Orange County features many stylish and sophisticated people who share my passion for the latest trends and fashions, and Irvine Spectrum Center is an outstanding venue and fashion destination."
Marketing director Stacie Ellis agreed. "Judging by the attendance and the crowd's reaction, Orange County Style Week has arrived in a big way. Lauren Conrad really helped energize our week of fashion by putting on a fantastic show. It's obvious that she has a huge and growing fan base in her hometown."
