Lauren Conrad Greets Her L.A. Candy Fans

Out trying to boost interest in her new book, Lauren Conrad ventured over to a Barnes & Noble bookstore in New York City on Thursday afternoon June 18.

Looking cute in a comfy blouse with black shorts, the Hills hottie proudly held up a copy of LA Candy before taking a seat for the day’s autograph session.

Earlier in the day, Miss Conrad made another promotional stop - this time visiting the Live with Regis and Kelly show.

Talking about her new book, LC explained, “It’s inspired by my experience on The Hills. Because I went through it and there was this whole other story taking place off-camera and a lot of times it almost seemed, you know in our worlds, to upstage our on-camera life. So I thought it would be interesting to tell the story that happens behind a reality show.”

Lauren Conrad: The Hills Is Fake

Fresh from a transcontinental flight, Lauren Conrad was spotted walking through the terminal at JFK International Airport in New York City on June 17.

The former “Hills” hottie looked a bit worn out as she passed the paparazzi sporting a black jacket with a white scarf, white top, slim-fit jeans, and flip-flops.

This morning, LC came clean about some of the staged scenes on her MTV reality television gig, admitting that there was all kinds of fakeness and made-up scenarios.

For example, Conrad revealed that Spencer Pratt never actually apologized about the whole sex tape ordeal. “To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t on the other end of that call.” That was filmed and I wasn’t on the other end.”

As for her new book “L.A. Candy,” Lauren explained, “It’s inspired by [my experience on The Hills]. Because I went through it and there was this whole other story taking place off-camera and a lot of times it almost seemed, you know in our worlds, to upstage our on-camera life. So I thought it would be interesting to tell the story that happens behind a reality show.”

Lauren Conrad: LAX Jet Setter

Ready to jet out of town, Lauren Conrad was spotted arriving to Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday June 17.

Carrying a Chanel purse and lugging two large suitcases, the MTV reality starlet was asked to remove her sunglasses as a security staffer checked her ID card before allowing her to move along.

In related news, Miss Conrad spoke with press about the possibility of plastic surgery - saying that it’s not for her.

“You know what, I prefer a flatter-chested look,” the 23-year-old told Access Hollywood. “That’s just kind of me. I think it’s more of a fashion look. If you look at a lot of high-fashion models and things like that, they’re always you know, a little flatter ... I like the way clothes fit better.”

“Big boobs?” LC adds, “No I mean ... that’s what wonder bras are for!”

She absolutely loves publicity, and on June 16 Lauren Conrad made a promotional appearance on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.

The former Hills hottie looked to be enjoying herself as she was interviewed by the late night host, sitting on the couch next to Gwen Stefani’s hubby Gavin Rossdale.

Miss Conrad is in the midst of a book tour to promote her new novel L.A. Candy, the first of a three-book series.

And it was a busy day for LC, as she was also spotted signing books and mingling with fans at a local Barnes & Noble bookstore.

Diving into her new gig as an author, Lauren Conrad was spotted signing copies of her book L.A. Candy at a Barnes & Noble store in Los Angeles on June 16.

The former Hills hottie was all smiles as she posed for the paparazzi and greeted fans sporting a white and black blouse with a black skirt and black heels.

In related news, Miss Conrad recently told press that she’d love to see her new novel adapted for television, as she misses the medium.

“It’s one of my hopes,” she explained. “We’re going to start working on that when I get back from my book tour.”

She’s no stranger to airports and on June 17 Audrina Patridge was spotted arriving into LAX International Airport.

Joined by her Australian BMX biker beau Corey Bohan, the Hills hottie looked happy as she made her way through the terminal.

Miss Patridge and Mr. Bohan are coming off of a romantic getaway in Mexico, where they’ve spent the last few days enjoying each other’s company.

Earlier this week she gave the prying paparazzi an eyeful as he she pranced around her priave hotel pool sporting a skimpy black two-piece bikini.

The Hills hottie was joined by her new main squeeze, Australian BMX rider Corey Bohan, as she sipped drinks and swam in her own private pool.

And of course, Miss Patridge was all about showing off her fit and fine bikini body, prancing around poolside in a sexy skimpy black two-piece bathing suit.

Audrina recently cut herself loose from longtime on/off boyfriend Justin Bobby, and it looks like it didn’t take her very long to get over him.

Earlier today on The View, the 23-year-old reality star admitted a dirty little secret about The Hills. On the previous season, Spencer Pratt supposedly apologized to Lauren on the phone for spreading those sex tape rumors.

“To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t on the other end of that call,” Lauren replied. “That was filmed, and I wasn’t on the other end. So I didn’t even know about it until it was on TV. So, no, I didn’t get an apology. He lied.”

Lauren Conrad dons a Gemma top as she signs autographs for fans at her LA Candy book signing at Barnes and Noble at LA’s The Grove on Tuesday June 16.

At the release party, the 23-year-old was asked if she had any plans for plastic surgery and said, “I don’t think so, but you know what, I prefer a flatter-chested look, that’s just kind of me.” Lauren said, “I think it’s more of a more of a fashion look. If you look at a lot of high-fashion models and things like that, they’re always you know, a little flatter… I like the way clothes fit better.”

“You don’t want…” Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush asked. “Big boobs?” she said. “No, I mean… that’s what wonder bras are for!”

Lauren Conrad Wigs Up For Harper's Bazaar

Out for a photo session, Lauren Conrad sported a sexy bob hairdo as she ventured out for a Harper’s Bazaar shoot in West Hollywood on Friday June 12.

During the course of her outing, the MTV reality starlet dropped by the local Marc Jacobs store, picking up a few items before continuing about with the day’s business.
Meanwhile, LC recently weighed in on the big split between Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt, telling, “I didn’t know that! I thought they were a good match.”

Talking about the rumors that the pair were to wed, Miss Conrad said, “She was going to marry a lot of people. But he had fun. That’s all that matters.”

As for Doug, LC adds, “We dated my senior year of high school,” Conrad recalled of the relationship. “He moved back and then it was like, ‘Oh, we’ll pick up where we left off’... for a couple of weeks.’"

Fitting in an afternoon retail romp, Kristin Cavallari was spotted out on the trendy Robertson Blvd in Beverly Hills on Thursday June 11.

Dropping by the Alice + Olivia boutique, the MTV reality cutie took time to stop and smell some scented candles before making her purchases and continuing along on her way.

Aside from replacing Lauren on The Hills, Miss Cavallari is also awaiting the release of her upcoming movie Van Wilder: Freshman Year.

Cavallari stars as Van’s love interest in the direct-to-DVD flick, scheduled to hit store shelves everywhere July 14th.

She may be done with The Hills but Lauren Conrad has plenty of projects to keep her busy nowadays. And last night June 10 she was spotted launching her new novel.

The blonde babe was over at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills promoting her new book L.A. Candy with a swanky soiree.

And Miss Conrad looked absolutely fabulous as she arrived on the pink carpet in a black and grey minidress teamed with a pair of black heels.

Earlier in the day, LC was spotted doing some retail therapy out in West Hollywood, chatting away on her mobile phone as she strolled down the street.

Lauren Conrad Eyes Return To TV

After coming off a well deserved and much needed break from reality TV, Lauren Conrad may not be done with television after all.

The Hills beauty says that one of her goals is to get her book, L.A. Candy, on the small screen eventually. She says, “We’re going to start working on that when I get back from my book tour.”

She’s also not giving up her fashion collection, explaining, “I have my line at Kohl’s but I’m also working on putting back together my original line. I want to change it up, working on a new name…”

When asked whether she will tune into the first “Hills” show with Kristen Cavallari in her place, LC simply replied, “I probably won’t watch it. I’m not a huge TV person.”

Keeping busy throughout the weekend, Lauren Conrad attended the “A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival” at Wadsworth Theater in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (June 7).

Sponsored by Disney, LC was accompanied by gal pal Lo Bosworth for the day’s festivities, which benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

Miss Conrad was out the previous day - as she threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium.

Getting quite the treat, the MTV reality starlet met a few players before watching an extra-innings ballgame in which the LA Dodgers beat the Philadelphia Phillies 3-2.

Celebrating in style, Audrina Patridge played host at a birthday party for her brother at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas on Saturday (June 6).

The “Hills” beauty was joined by her dad, Mark Sr., along with friends and family, as the group partied down at TAO nightclub for her brother, Mark Jr.

Prior to the late night fete, Miss Patridge showed off her sexy bikini body as she lounged around the TAO Beach pool with her tight-knit family.

Not shy about showing off her fit figure, the MTV reality starlet recently donned a sexy two-piece for a Carl’s Jr. Burger advertisement.

“I had an absolute blast shooting. It was my first experience shooting a spot with food, and when I pulled up, I was literally salivating looking at all the rows and rows of perfect burgers waiting for me!” Audrina tells of the promotions, which begins running on June 24th.

Lauren Conrad looks quite surprised after throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at Dodger Stadium on Saturday afternoon (June 6) in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old reality TV star watched as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat out the Philadelphia Phillies, 3-2. Also pictured: Dodgers Chief Executive Officer Jamie McCourt and Dodgers catcher Brad Ausmus.

Last night, Lauren attended The Hills: A Staged Reading, put on by the Upright Citizen’s Brigade. E! reports Private Practice star Kate Walsh read at the show and gave an uncanny impersonation of Lauren’s now infamous Hills lines including the classic diss said to ex-BFF Heidi Montag, “I want to forgive you and I want to forget you.” Lauren laughed the entire night!

Lauren, 23, and Kyle, 31, watched Game One of the 2009 NBA Finals and saw the Los Angeles Lakers beat out Orlando Magic, 100-74. Also spotted in the stands: Sophia Bush, Jessica Simpson and beau Tony Romo, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kanye West.

Lauren Conrad And Kyle Howard: Shopping Mates

Fitting in a little quality time with her man, Lauren Conrad and boyfriend Kyle Howard were spotted out shopping in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (May 30).

The MTV reality starlet and her beau ended up dropping by Burton US on Melrose, checking out the selection of surfing shorts before deciding on a pair.

Meanwhile, Miss Conrad will be making her final appearance on the Season 5 finale of “The Hills” - which airs on MTV at 8pm, just ahead of the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.

Talking about being done with the world of reality television, LC told press: “I won’t miss the filming process, I don’t miss it at all. The wires, there’s no lights in my house, no mic packs and tape stuck to my clothes.”

And though she’s happy to be finished up, Lauren has no regrets about her career path. “In the moment there were times that I was like I don’t want to do this, I need to do this on my own. But now that it’s all said and done, I’m happy I did it.”
