Lauren Conrad Shines At Style Week Orange County

Ever since her rise to fame on The Hills, Lauren Conrad has been making a name for herself as a fashion designer as well. And last night, she enjoyed a warm welcome at the first-ever Style Week Orange County.

LC showed up at the Irvine Spectrum Center for the unveiling of her new holiday collection and over 2500 (including family and former neighbors) screaming fans cheered wildly in approval.

Lauren told press, "It was so exciting to debut my latest collection so close to where I grew up. And to have so many members of my family here supporting me was really special.

She continued, "I'm honored to kick off the first-ever Style Week Orange County. Orange County features many stylish and sophisticated people who share my passion for the latest trends and fashions, and Irvine Spectrum Center is an outstanding venue and fashion destination."

Marketing director Stacie Ellis agreed. "Judging by the attendance and the crowd's reaction, Orange County Style Week has arrived in a big way. Lauren Conrad really helped energize our week of fashion by putting on a fantastic show. It's obvious that she has a huge and growing fan base in her hometown."

Lauren Conrad And Audrina Patridge: Post-VMA Partiers

It was a big night for the girls of The Hills, as both Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge were on-hand for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards - along with the parties that followed.

While on the red carpet, LC was asked which star had the best style, to which she replied, "I love Rihanna's style. She takes a lot of chances." And her favorite guy? None other than Rihanna's R&B singing beau Chris Brown, as Miss Conrad tells: "I love Chris Brown!"

Following the night's show, LC and Audrina both headed over to The Official VMA After Party Presented By Nikon and Pepsi at Paramount Studios for a big after party.

Posing arm-in-arm, the twosome showed no signs of a feud, with Lauren summing up the evening by telling press: "I feel like the VMAs always bring a little bit of trouble."

Leaving Paramount studios, Audrina then ventured over to the House of Hype party before capping off her evening at the In Touch VMA Post Party at Chateau Marmont.

They're on one of the hottest Reality TV shows in the world and earlier tonight (September 7), Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge showed up on the red carpet at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards looking red hot.

Sporting a cleavage-baring tank-style minidress teamed with a pair of silver peep-toe heels, LC flashed her perfect smile as she meandered around the arrivals area.

Not one to be outdone, Audrina showed off what her mother (and the doctor) gave her in a sequined ensemble with matching strappy heels.

This year's MTV Video Music Awards is sure to be a major media event, as stars like Britney Spears and Michael Jackson descend on Paramount Studios in Hollywood, California.

And with "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" stud Russell Brand hosting the night's festivities, there's no telling what may happen  before the final curtain falls!

After making a trip to see her local psychic earlier in the day, Lauren Conrad got all prettied up and headed out for a night of partying in Tinseltown on Thursday (September 4).

The MTV reality starlet ventured over to the Nylon magazine Pre-VMA party in Los Angeles, looking sexy in a sleeveless black belted minidress paired with strappy black heels.

As for the VMAs, LC is going to be one of the night's presenters, of which she recently told press: "I'm going and I'm presenting and I'm really excited. I just got my dress today."

When asked if there's anything about the show in particular that she's most looking forward to, Conrad replied: "Michael Jackson! When do you get to see that?"

Lauren Conrad Gets Spiritual

More camera-shy than usual as she covered her face up from following paparazzi, Lauren Conrad was spotted out for a little spiritual counseling in Los Angeles on Thursday (September 4).

The MTV reality starlet hopped out of her ride and headed into a psychic's place, with the sign reading: "Maria Milagrosa Curandera Espiritual".

Meanwhile, it seems as if LC has been doing a little counseling of her own, as her Hills co-star/roomie Lauren Lo Bosworth recently called it quits with her fellow UCLA beau Christian Wenger.

Lauren and Lo hit up Hollywood hotspot Crown Bar shortly after the split, with an insider telling: "She was drinking her troubles away. Lauren thought it would be a good idea to have a girls' night out and get Lo's mind off of the breakup."

Lauren Conrad And Lo Bosworth: Fitness Fanatics

When you consider that they pretty much get paid to be on camera and look good, it's no wonder Lauren Conrad and Lauren "Lo" Bosworth pay such close attention to their physiques.

The Hills co-stars were spotted spending their Labor Day holiday getting physical with a jogging outing, along with a friend and their dog in West Hollywood, California.

LC rocked a blue tank top overtop a black tank along with a pair of black stretch pants and white sneakers, while Lo sported a yellow tank with black pants while she carried a zip-up hoodie.

And about Lauren Conrad's night at Katsuya, unfortunately her driver accidentally reversed into another waiting car as he drove her home. Luckily no one was hurt and there was no serious damage done to either car.

Lauren Conrad Kicks Back at Katsuya

Enjoying a laid back Labor Day weekend, Lauren Conrad was spotted enjoying a late dinner in Los Angeles on Sunday (August 31).

Spotted exiting Katsuya following her meal, The Hills hottie was wearing a short-sleeved scoopneck blouse with a pair of blue high-waisted shorts showing off her tanned legs.

Meanwhile, Conrad has been busy creating a couture red carpet gown to be worn by the trophy girls for the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards, which air on September 21st.

"I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist," LC told of her design plans.
