Looking to be watching her figure, LC was toting around a bottle of Light Weight - which is a drink developed by physicians to increase calories burnt per hour.

Meanwhile, rumors keep building as to The Hills starlet's latest possible romance with My Boys actor Kyle Howard.

According to a report, Miss Conrad was out at Teddy's on Saturday night with Kyle in tow.

"They were making out and just totally being a couple," an insider said of the duo. "They were kissing all night."

When she's not embroiled in the drama of her MTV reality show The Hills, Lauren Conrad is working on becoming the next big thing in fashion design.

And yesterday LC was spotted on a shopping trip to the Michael Levine store in Los Angeles, in search of some fabrics for her latest creative spell.

Always in fashion herself, Lauren looked cool and casual in a teal tank top paired with dark wash flair-legged jeans and a pair of platform sandals.

On a recent episode of The Hills, Lauren admitted to missing her ex-BFF Heidi Montag. And it seems that the feeling is mutual.

Montag told press, "I was glad to hear it. I thought it was really sweet. That really brought a big smile to my face. Obviously I miss her, and she was my best friend for a really long time. Hopefully one day we will be able to work through this and move on and patch some things up."

Good news for The Hills star Lauren Conrad. Her contemporary collection is selling up a storm!

"The sell-throughs have been fantastic," said Frank Doroff, vice chairman at Bloomingdale's, told WWD. "We got it in and sold out immediately. We can't get the merchandise on the floor fast enough. It is, by far, the best-selling celebrity line we have. It's so much better than I thought it would be."

Executives at MTV Networks, which backs Lauren's brand, projected it would reach around $2 million in wholesale volume during its first year at retail.

There's been all kinds of buzz about her Emmy gown design, but as it turns out that was only one facet of Lauren Conrad's fabulous night at the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

Then, after the show LC was spotted hamming it up in the press room before heading out to TV Guide's 6th annual afterparty, held at the Kress.

And though her show The Hills, walked away empty-handed, Lauren told press she's glad Reality TV is getting its due. "I think that reality television is becoming really important in the industry, because if you turn on the TV, half of it is reality. I'm happy they're acknowledging it."

Whitney Port's Spinoff Series = The City

A source confirms that MTV is officially spinning off The Hills into Whitney Port's own reality TV series.

Emily Brill, the 20-something daughter of Steve Brill, the founder of Court TV (now known as TruTV) told about it last week.

She said, "Last night, MTV's The City (The Hills spinoff starring Whitney Port) shot a dinner party scene at socialite Olivia Palermo's apartment. Participants included Whitney, Whitney's boyfriend, and Olivia Palermo."

The City, which will follow Whitney working for Diane von Furstenberg in NYC, is set to begin airing in early 2009.

The 22-year-old Hills star, who finished off her look with strappy YSL shoes, recently told ET about her designing a dress for the Emmys. "The fact that I get to go and present and they're giving me the opportunity to do the dress, it's huge," she said.

Lauren described the gown she designed for the girls handing out the trophies. "I did green because green is the theme for the Emmys this year," she said.

"I've always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to," Conrad said. "I'm so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers."
